providing families with quality childcare since 1993
Think left & think right, think low and think high. Oh, the things you can think up if only you try!

Here, at Country Kids Learning Center, we strive to create the best learning environment to cater to each of our children's needs. Our teachers monitor every child to document all aspects of their developmental growth to help shape our lesson plans to fit the unique-ness of each class. The center uses a program named "Mother Goose" that aligns with the Missouri Early Learning Standards (MELS) to insure your child is prepared to excel in their first day of kindergarten!

Infants and Toddlers
In our Infant and Toddler aged rooms, our teachers work towards helping your tiny tot learn what it means to be mobile! With mobility comes the new obstacle of social expectations and learning what is happening outside of themselves. Country Kids' trained teachers, who come equipped with the infant-toddler addition of Mother Goose, are here to support your little one's first steps into the world and their first struggles they may encounter while in our care. Your little one will get to experience a hands-on style of schooling that will allow them to explore the world around them to promote growth of the seven core parts of their brain development. On top of Mother Goose's curriculum, our teachers strive to create meaningful relationships with their students in order to obtain the most welcoming atmosphere. They also work towards assisting children in establishing companionship among their students to encourage social milestone development... after all, children learning best from one another! Parents may come to see that at this age group we prioritize the journey over the result, so you can expect to see many examples of your child's creative journey everyday through their artwork, pictures of activities throughout the day, and on their smiling faces at the end of the day!
Mother Goose helps our teachers by sending the center a monthly box full of flashcards with activities, coloring pages, milestone development tracking tools, and among other items specifically curated to this age group! The teachers will take these tools and, keeping the individuals and the class as a whole in mind, are able to plan lessons that helps your child peruse their next milestone and prepare them for their next age-grouped room!
Twos
Our two to three year old room may prioritize potty-training, but we believe that the children's education is just as important! Mother Goose's 18-36 month curriculum is research-based and designed to support your little one's rapidly growing curiosity. With access to books, tools, art materials, and toys children can strengthen communication skills, and the seven core developmental domains. Through Mother Goose, our teachers receive the tools to make sure that learning can continue beyond class-time with activities and play. Our teachers also use play-time as a perfect opportunity to help students build relationship building skills and show the children how to use their voice to communicate their feelings with these tools! This is also the time where students will begin to learn what it means to have a more traditional, sat-down style of teachings through circle time activities and a more designated class time where our Mother Goose materials will be utilized most. Exposing the students to a classroom-like environment will not only allow the children to find comfortability in a more traditional teaching environment, but will also allow for ample time to solidify their understanding of classroom appropriate behaviors and expectations!
Preschool
While everything about graduating preschool and moving onto kindergarten is exciting our center strives to make the journey there just as exciting! With the continued use of Mother Goose this is the stage in which we prepare your student for kindergarten and thereon the most. Through the curriculum, students learn skills to development friendships and strengthen their abilities to express and understand their emotions. Mother Goose helps teachers implement daily routines to support self-regulation and expand students' attention spans, which is needed to ensure long-term school success. With 20 topics a month students will learn hands on to build 72 foundational skills that are woven in the 7 developmental domains, which also include problem solving and creative thinking. This curriculum also supports the artist in every child with daily crafts to bring home! Our center strives to make the first years full of positive experiences to support children's ever-growing brains!
